February saw once again the team of doctors form Michigan visiting to continue their work with the Kids-in-sighjt project.
This project is ajoint project with the lions of Zone 3B and the Saint Lucia Blind Welfare Association. During their visit the doctors perform corrective eye surgery on disadvantaged children as well as conduct professional development workshops for health professionals. This year marked the tenth year of this project and after the work the team met with the lions and members of the Saint Lucia Blind Welfare Associaiton to review the project. There were grave reviews for the project and commitment for its continuance.
