Lions partner with Salvation Army in Relieving the Hunger

CENTENNIAL SERVICE CHALLENGE - RELIEVING THE HUNGER
Thursday January 15, the Lions joined by the Leo President and Captain Brooks of the Salvation Army in their daily feeding programme. The Salvation Army serves a light supper to the homeless in the environs of Castries. Today the Lions chose to join in the feeding. The lions prepared the pre-packed meals and joined in serving the residents as they came to the courtyard of the city hall to receive their supper. The 50 plus residents were ever thankful for the meal. Captain Brooks thanked the lions for joining with them in this feeding.. The lions as always were grateful to have been able to assist in relieving the hunger of the homeless. Thanks to the Lions and friends who took the time to prepare the packaged meals and in serving. Thanks also to the Leo President who always provide support to the work of the lions
