CASTRIES LIONS HOST VISION 20/20 QUARTERLY MEETING

The Castries Lions Club on March 7, 2015 hosted the Quarterly meeting of the Vision 20/20 Committee. The Vision 20/20 Committee is a Planning Committee of the Saint Lucia Blind Welfare Association, whose role is the formulation and implementation of strategies for the prevention of blindness in Saint Lucia. The quarterly meeting received reports from the various representatives on activities that were undertaken to support the work of the Association. The Castries reported on its two activities - a talk to the students of the Lady Gordon Opportunity Center and its participation in the Zone activity - Kids In Sight. The Castries Lions also provided support to the Regional Conference of Vision 20/20 committees. As host the club not only housed the meeting but provided the break and lunch. The club was represented by the President and Chairperson of the Community Services Committee. The Leo club was represented by the President and Immediate Past President.

 The meting was a very fruitful one.
