The New President, Leo Le-Ann made no promises for the coming year but challenged her club with three questions.
1 Who is a President - one with a vision a goal, a desire not just to lead but to direct. she highlighted
that leading simply means that others must just trust and follow; but to direct is to impart knowledge
and encouragement so that even in the absence of the leader, great heights can be achieved.
2 Who is a LEO - the acronym stands for Leadership, Experience and Opportunity. the clubs provides
opportunity to experience leadership. From feeding the poor and caring for the sick, to building homes
and changing lives. Together we can heal the world and make it a better place.
3 Who is a Leo President - is a leader in the field of community service. The Leo president thinks of the
club as a business whose product is service, customers are the community and reward is self-fulfillment.
The members of the club were urged to make every effort to want to make a difference, change a life, give service to others. Her final words were " With me as your leader and you as my team, together we can make a difference."
