DIABETES AWARENESS EDUCATION

In observance of Diabetes Awareness month the members of the Lions Club of Castries engaged the services of former Lion Sister Elvina Ravenaeu to conduct a lecture session with the students of Grades 5 and 6 of the Canon Laurie Anglican Primary School on the warning signs of Diabetes Myths and facts. The over 120 students were enthusiastic and the interaction was great.The lecture session debunked a number of myths which the students had and the newly acquired information can now be shared with parents, siblings and friends.
