The outgoing presidents were full of appreciation for the support they received during the year and recognized those Lions and Leos who had done outstandingly. The Incoming Presidents all pledged their support for the work to be undertaken in the Zone. One of the highlights of the presentations by the Incoming Presidents was the need for collaboration among the clubs not only in social events but in service activities.
The Castries Lions Clun and the Leo club recorded growth on that night as three members were inducted into the Castries Lions Club and one into the Leo Club of Castries. The induction ceremony was conducted by Lion Sharon Zone Chairman 3B.
Lion Sharon on behalf of the District Governor, Lion Izett Mccalla presented the award for Leo Club of District 60B to the Leo Club of Castries; and the award for Leo President of the Year for District 60B to Leo Ekiema Yarde of the Leo Club of Castries.
Congratulations to the Castries Lions and Leos for showing positive growth and to the Leo Club of Castries for their achievements. Our thanks and congratulations go to the outgoing Boards for their hard work during the lionistic year. The incoming Boards are also congratulated for accepting to undertake the leadership of the club for another lionistic year to build on the legacy that had been passed on.
