LIONS IN ZONE 3B HOST KIDS INSIGHT TEAM
Team of medical specialists who has developed a ten year partnership with the Lions Clubs in Saint Lucia
and the Saint Lucia Blind Welfare Association again visited Saint Lucia to provide humanitarian eye-care.
During their visit the team provides free eye consultation to chilldren and perform eye surgeries correcting various vision problems. For the first time this year adults were included in the project. This activity is funded by funds raised by the Lions and Leos of Zone 3B (Saint Lucia) and from an initial grant from Lions International. The Team is thankful for the opportunity to provide this service to Saint Lucia and to the Ministry of Health (Victoria Hospital and St Jude for facilitating the surgeries). The first leg of the project was held today at the Saint Lucia Blind Welfrae Association and the Team was hosted by the Lions and Leos of the Castries clubs.
