The social activity for February
was held in observance of the 35th Anniversary of Independence. For this
activity lions were to wear the national colours. An independence Quiz was
conducted at that activity. It was interesting to note that most Lions were
re-educated on the national dress. symbol, tree, festival. Lion Sharon not only
walked away with the prize for the quiz but also for the one who more aptly
depicted the national colours. Although there were two other lions in similar
attire, Lions Sharon went the extra mile with head piece, earrings, scarf and
shoes. This activity was not only educational but entertaining.
