The President of the Lions Club of Castries used "WhatsApp" as a
means of communicating with members of the Club. Using that group
member were challenged to report their daily acts of Service.
Receiving awards for the month of September for their daily acts of
service were Lions Cynthia Laurent, who assisted a needy students with
school uniform,Lion Lesley-Ann Modeste who made a contribution to a
senior citizen, Lion Lydia Elliott who visited a nursing home in Virgina
and spent time with the residents, Lion Sharon Ephraim who cares for
her sick neighbour, but on Sunday took time to take her out for a walk,
something the stroke patient had not done in months.
