The Lions and Leos of Castries
partnered with the Division of Human Services to bring relief to families living
with HIV/AIDS. This activity is usually undertaken for observance of World AIDS
day but however it was delayed this year. A Presentation of twelve (12) grocery
hampers was made to the representative
of the Division Human Services for presentation to the families. The club is
always happy to be of assistance to those persons knowing how their lives can
be affected by the stigma and discrimination persons with their condition face.
